Its late night, and I thought to share some of my experience and feelings at job with my lovely readers. ‘CONTENT’, a word used in a very ‘inspiring’ way, by someone I adore, to boost me up. It means you are happy, and while you may not think things are perfect, you can be happy despite that. Am sitting at my workplace in my office.

I live with room partners. One of them is DBA and other is Software Tester working in the same company, which I work for. One of them is television and cell phone fan, and the other is a afraid of future at age of 21. One of  my room partner works for same team, which I work for. They are my good friends. Most of the Indian software ‘PROFESSIONALS’ are like this.

Most of the managers make the other employees think, that they are respected for their hard-work, not ‘SMART-WORK’. Some senior professionals adore smart work, but they are always busy. Understandable! They have lot of critical things to tackle.

People should love their work. If they have something to do, they shouldn’t care for whom they work, their aim should aim to love it, and make the best out of it.  I love my work and I love having ‘FUN’ too. Let me tell you, am not a person with very high IQ.

Recently,I met few guys who started up a new company in Bangalore. They had small workplace, with around 20 people(guess), compared to my medium sized office with around 150 employees, and my office is air-conditioned compared to their naturally cool and bright workplace . People out there were inspiring, full of ideas, living their own lives. I could smell ‘FREEDOM’ in them. India got free on August 15, 1947. My office has its own dress code, timing restrictions, project deadlines, access cards, rules and regulations. I am happy with my workplace though.

‘MONEY’ ruins everything- brains, people, mentality. Rich people start thinking they are too smart to judge others, actually they are not. Some people don’t even think about the hard work someone did for them, but they love to take out their mistakes. Appreciation is important factor for anyone to grow. Call it money-fever which divides our society into rich and poor or call it superiority complex.  Be straight forward with these kind of people rather than proving yourself. May be, you guys deserve much better. Reminded me of ‘SADDA HAQ’ from movie Rockstar.

‘CONTENT’,  ‘PROFESSIONALS’, ‘SMART-WORK’, ‘FUN’, ‘FREEDOM’, ‘MONEY’. Each listed para speaks of one. These are the words, which can describe any software engineer, or any other professional.
